This past weekend, I had the pleasure of performing the 'great American play', Our Town, at Playwrights Horizons Theater School (directed by: Jack Serio). And while Thornton Wilder's masterpiece is a household name among American high-school students, this production marked my first interaction with the play - a tale about provincial New England at the turn of the twentieth century and "the way we were: in our growing up and in our marrying and in our living and in our dying." It is a play that says much and says it simply.
I feel so fortunate to have collaborated on this project, and to do so with such a diverse and talented creative team and cast - 21 actors in total - was very special. Photography: Christopher Gagliardi.
